=== Teenage years === In his early teens Amon had become a full-fledged servant in the Charcoal palace, having become the 2nd chef to Flintknap, The population around the Brass city had started to hear of the child that was fire-born yet had no connection to the fire, as Amon started to cook for the less fortunate inhabitants of the city hosting cookouts. Causing a dislike within the upper nobles, yet becoming liked by the common-folk. While the years went on for Amon inside the palace, he became close friends to a handmaiden by the name of Cathexis Agni, a slightly older than him maid within the palace, Cathexis was an ex-member of The Red Crusade, being forced to servitude after sustaining an injury in the Cinder wasted repelling an attack from Red Dragons coming from the Fountains of Creation. Being told many stories of the world outside the walls of the city from Cathexis, Amon began to dream of the world outside, having aspiration to join The Red Crusade he asked Cathexis for training in the art of combat. Not wanting to subject the Kid to the cruel world outside of the βsafeβ walls of the city it took sometime for Amon to persuade her to train him.
