==== The Great Battlefield ==== [[File:Plains by noahbradley-d8d9diw.jpg|thumb|Fiery smoke rising in the distance from the Great Battlefield, as seen from the Amber Territories.|alt=]] Ibera is divided transversally by the Great Battlefield, a region of constant war. The Great Battlefield formed gradually over the course of the Great War, and turned the land in the region from fertile and flat to barren and cratered. The region features scorched earth from fire magic, felled forests from rampaging giants, and craters in the ground from lightning explosions and airship cannon fire. Settling in the Great Battlefield is close to impossible due to the ever-raging battle, however the floating town of Wildehold, although shanty-like, has managed to maintain its existence. The region is the battleground for the forces of Anaar, Sielat, Eldas, and Aziel. In the early times of the Great War, the Great Battlefield was pushed further north towards the Acres of Anarchy as Sielat's armies struggled under the organized might of the Lawful Force of Anaar, however with the arrival of the Conquerer Army from the west via the territory now known as The Invaded, the Great Battlefield has been pushed ever-further south, towards the City of Order. Support from the Army of Life have stemmed the onslaught of the opposing armies towards the City of Order, however the region of battle still moves slightly south with each passing day, largely due to efforts from the Elzahaar.
