=== Into the Martial plane === Amon Returned to the Brass City with his newfound ability to fly, keeping it hidden and choosing to walk in and not make a show out of it, he returned to Yezu to report, who in turn showed slight surprise, as Amon had returned when no one else did, troops had gone out to scout and found four bodies near the fountains of creation, assuming everyone on the scouting mission had died. Amon told Yezu that he hid in a cave from the earthen forces, even slew a wyrmling before escaping back home. An obvious lie, yet a convincing one, After the report Amon was sent on leave for a few weeks, he went to find his parents and Cathexis, to tell them what happened and to show them what he could do now. During the week another new peculiarity arose, as Amon was helping Flintknap in the kitchen during his free time, he managed to cut himself, but instead of the cinder-filled blood that used to come out when he bled, pure flames dripped out of his wound, he tasted this by making another small cut on his hand, the wound hurt as any other, but once again flames came out instead of the usual blood. Telling his parents about this, they became worried, worried that once the Efreeti of the palace found out they would experiment on him, to find out how this happened, and potentially how to harness it into power for the Sultan, they told Amon to flee from the city, to hide away from what could harm their child. Chandler and Cinder took their child to an old and kind Efreeti in the slums, one that Amon had cooked for in his younger years, one that turned into a friend of the family, They begged for his help in safeguarding their son, the Efreeti, immediately obliged, however he stated it would be his last act of magic, as the weave was starting to leave him in his old age, and his end was coming soon. Both parents gave their son a gift, Cinder gave Amon a ring that would protect him from flames, wherever he went, Chandler poked Amon with a small needle, the ink seeping into his skin and moving towards his right arm, soon intricate patters on black lines adorned his right arm. With their goodbyes said, and a clap of the Efreeti’s hands, Amon was no longer in the Brass City, being sent to a different plane to protect him from the Sultan of the Charcoal Palace, where he ran around all his life. Amon woke up on soft green grass, all around him colors he had never seen before, the earth was alive, all around him however were creatures watching him, he didn’t know where he was, and he could understand some of the creatures, they looked human, but also some looked smaller, as he would soon learn would be dwarves, gnomes and halflings. He quickly asked where he was, and he got a confusing response, “Grirun” a place he never heard from before, asking more he learned he had left the plane of fire, and ended up in the martial plane, directly in the backlines of the forces of the unified society of the Azure sun, some scholars recognizing his foreignness explained to Amon what The martial plane was and the current situation of the world, in return Amon told them about the Brass City and the plane of fire, and its way of life. In Grirun, at the Camp of the USAS, Amon volunteered to help their efforts, having a want to explore the world, clearly he would not stand for the forces of The Conquerer army to destroy everything he had yet to see and experience. Weeks went by and Amon had taken up position as chef for the forces of the USAS taking care of meals for the hungry, also somewhat a jester, he learned from the scholars the ways of magic, which he incorporated into him fighting style, but also to show off as he cooked for the soldiers, making fire dance all around the cafeteria, it became a dinner and a show in one for first-timers in the encampment. As more time flew by, Amons encampment was relatively safe in the backline, however on an unfortunate night sappers and assassins of the conquerer army had snuck into the camp, taking many lives of the USAS members, Amon, being awake and cleaning up the cafeteria ran outside with the awake guards and for the first time since showing his fiery wings to his parents, in the pitch black dark of night he unleashed them again, startling and surprising enemies and foes alike, and lighting up the night’s sky in a brilliant orange hue. After the battle at the camp, Amons camp was set to join the forward camps in their campaign to repel the forces of death, This is where Amon left the encampment, aiming towards traveling towards the different continents, to see what they have to offer, be it sightseeing or learning cooking recipes. As Amon was traveling southwards on a ship, The sky ignited in a pillar of green, coming from the Continent of Iberia. Determined to stay as far away as possible from whatever that was, the ship travelled on towards the green swamp-filled continent of Ruashoth wanting to experience what new sights it had to offer.
