}}Donavich Moldovar is a human priest who currently has the title of "Travelling Sergeant" with the Order of the Wild Fumewort. Before his conversion to Aziel, Donavich preached the words of the Morninglord in the village of Dalgenen during Strahd Von Zarovich's rule. Donavich Moldovar is a staunch ally to the Lightbringers.
Appearances
Introduction
Donavich has appeared multiple times throughout the adventures of the Lightbringers, most notably in their adventures within Dalgenen and their battles against the vampire count Strahd Von Zarovich. Donavich was first seen within the village of Dalgenen's church, praying to the Morninglord to save his son Doru from the vampirism with which he was infected. Donavich had been driven to the brink of madness by his son's infection and fought against the Lightbringers when they attacked Doru. Donavich's grief-fueled defense of his son sparked strong conflict within the adventuring group as to whether Donavich deserved to be killed or spared. Ultimately Donavich came to his senses and vowed to help the group in any way he could, both to apologise for his actions and to avenge his son.

Dalgenen
Over the course of the adventures within Strahd's dread plane Donavich perished multiple times, each time being resurrected shortly after. Donavich frequently landed crucial blows in battle and provided much-needed medical assistance, quickly establishing rapport between himself and the group.

The Battle of Ravenloft
Donavich fought alongside the Lightbringers in their final battle with Strahd Von Zarovich, ultimately losing his life to Patrina Velikovna in the process. After the vampire was vanquished, Reed Tealeaf took the corpses of Donavich and Gokher Wraitharm to Soveliss Amastacia in Vasvik where both were resurrected. Donavich was left with Soveliss to learn about the new world he found himself in.

The Return to Dalgenen
Donavich was encountered months later by the Lightbringers as they were leaving Dalgenen. Donavich appeared stronger and leaner, wearing the symbols of the Order of the Wild Fumewort. He explained he had left Soveliss to pursue Aziel and found his deepest resonance to be with the Order. As his knowledge of Dalgenen was unparalleled, Donavich was given the rank of "Travelling Sergeant" and entrusted with directing the forces of Aziel within the region. He left the group to venture back into Dalgenen after he felt the pull of "an old, ancient, evil" return when the Lightbringers facilitated the return of Strahd.

Background
Donavich revealed his history to the Lightbringers during their travels. A little more than a year ago, his twenty-year-old son Doru and several other villagers stormed Castle Ravenloft in revolt, having been lured there by a wizard in black robes who came to Dalgenen from a faraway land. By all accounts, the wizard died by Strahd's hand, and so too did Doru, who returned to his father as a vampire spawn. Donavich was able to trap his son in the church's undercroft, but the transformation of his child broke his mind. Donavich prayed day and night, hoping that the gods would tell him how to save Doru without destroying him but he never received an answer. His path was altered when he met the Lightbringers, and accompanied them on their travels.
