The Pagans of Ysgard are an independent military group of skilled warriors from many ages throughout time. Banded together by bloodlust, the Pagans follow Arizsor the Honorless as he leads the warriors from plane to plane in search of vicious battle.

History and Formation[edit]

Throughout the years, warriors who perished in battle found their souls pulled to the outer plane of Ysgard. They would battle forever, finding revelry and rebirth in the plane's everlasting war. Over time, souls of a particular caliber would be sent to Ysgard. These souls fought with such bloodlust they were banished from Ysgard's honor-bound battle plain to the infinite battlefields of Acheron where their rage would be left unchecked. It is these barbarous souls, the banished of Ysgard, that grouped together under Arizsor the storm giant to form the Pagans of Ysgard.

Arizsor the Honorless[edit]

During Arizsor's time on Ysgard, his skill in battle drew the attention of one of the Titan rulers of the plane: Thor. Seeing his natural lightning affinity and loose ferocity, Thor began spending time with the giant. Odin however, was unpleased by his son's actions and banished Arizsor to Acheron, blaming the giant's brutality and bloodlust. Further souls found themselves banished over time, and Arizsor added them to his ranks.
