During the Lightbringers' battle against Grakos in Castle Ravenloft, Thadali used the rings cast previously on adventurers to summon himself a great distance and aid the group in their fight. Thadali temporarily held back Grakos as the adventurers linked arms for Thadali's teleportation spell to take them back to safety. Despite Thadali's assistance, [[Daevalur Sunmeadow]] was killed by Grakos just prior to teleporting. Thadali managed to teleport the full group back to Hearthsage Stronghold with [[Clarent]] where the adventurers rested and parted ways.
